A fun and exciting Martial Arts Weapons Program
A full weapons program where you will get the opportunity to learn 10 weapons, using solo and partnered forms. Even though kobudo does draw on basic karate skills, no experience is needed in either. In fact, many people have used it as a fun and easy way to kick-start their own fitness program.
The younger generation have the adrenalin rush of being able to display their skills using exciting, flashing, traditional implements. A more seasoned practitioner has the additional challenge of applying their skills and knowledge in a different area. This is a program that will challenge and re-invigorate your passion in the martial arts by expanding your existing martial knowledge.
You are encouraged to work at your own pace through individual goal setting. This is the chance to do something exciting and positive for yourself, surrounded by others with a similar mindset and “no egos”

Can I change classes / days if I want to?
Yes, you can train across all the locations, however the class needs to be applicable for the student's age & level.
Do you offer family discounts?
Whilst we try to keep costs to a minimum, we can offer discounts for multiple family members.
Do I need a weapons license?
How old do I have to be?
Although there are no age restrictions, ideally children from 4+ years (primary school) is a good age to start.
Do you offer personal training?
What are the class times?
Please see the "Timetable" section on this site
How much does it cost?
The more you train the less it costs!!!
Most people train 2 times a week, hence on our most popular "unlimited package", that is approximately $15 per class.
Do children have to "spar / fight"?
Children are not allowed to spar until they get to yellow belt level and have trained for a minimum of 6 months. We take your safety incredibly seriously and students are required to wear full protective gear including headgear, mouth guards, hand mitts, groin guards and females aged 12 and above will be required to wear chest guards.
